We celebrated Christel's 30th birthday the one way we know. With good food, good wine and many martinis. Cantina has held a place in my heart for many moons now. With nights like this when you stroll down Memory Lane it is hard not to keep going back. 20120510-080332.jpg

Picked up an armful of beautiful organic squash by @warrengrangefreshproduce from Mondo’s this morning. This year I’m focusing on buying seasonal, local veg, minimising waste and avoiding the supermarket (unless it’s my local IGA) wherever possible. I was really sad to see my favourite butcher Hampshire On Eighth close down whilst I was away. It’s up to all of us to keep these businesses alive.
